I have this friend at work and she is a knitting machine.  She makes all these beautiful scarves and just finished a really groovy poncho for me.  Well, I have been dying to learn to knit or crochet and FINALLY I think I have the crochet thing down.  I made a two inch purple square tonite. Oh joy of joys.  The knitting thing still escapes me but crochet will do.  Soon I'll be producing divinely lovely warm things for all my friends and family. 

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow - - SOMEWHERE ELSE, please.  Ugh, I live in the south.  I am a child of the summer.  What is all this white crap?  We got 12 inches in November and then 4 inches of ice last month and now it's snowing AGAIN.  I want some warm sunshine and at least 60 degrees.  Can someone work on that for me?
